When PokerStars needed a professional live stream for the Irish Poker Open at the RDS in Dublin, Beyond AV delivered a multi-camera production designed to engage an online audience of more than 75,000 viewers.

Our team deployed a multi-camera setup, automated camera slider, full audio system, onscreen graphics and a dual internet connection to ensure the stream was stable throughout the event.

Live Streaming FAQs

Can you provide a hybrid event solution?2026-08-18T17:25:13+01:00

Yes. Hybrid events combine a live audience in the venue with an online audience watching remotely.

Beyond AV can create a complete hybrid event solution incorporating the in-room AV and the online broadcast.

This can include:

Event cameras
Live streaming
Professional audio
LED screens
Presentations
Live graphics
Audience interaction
Online speakers
Recording
Post-event content

The aim is to make the online audience feel like part of the event rather than simply watching a camera pointed at a stage.

We can work with you from the initial planning stage to determine the best way to connect your physical and online audiences and ensure both experiences work together seamlessly.

How much internet bandwidth is required for live streaming?2026-08-18T17:24:32+01:00

The bandwidth required depends on the quality and bitrate of the broadcast, the streaming platform and whether we are using a primary and backup connection.

For example, YouTube’s current recommended H.264 bitrate for a 1080p 30fps live stream is around 10 Mbps, while LinkedIn recommends up to 6 Mbps for 1080p live video and recommends at least 10 Mbps upload speed for reliable streaming.

However, simply having a fast internet connection doesn’t guarantee a reliable live stream. Upload speed, network stability, venue infrastructure and other users sharing the connection can all affect performance.

We therefore assess connectivity as part of the planning process and can provide dedicated or backup connectivity where required. Site visits are recommended where possible.

We can build redundancy into the streaming system where possible. During two recent events in Dublin, for example, the primary connection was backed up using Starlink to reduce the risk of an interruption to the broadcast.

Do you provide live streaming services across Ireland and the UK?2026-08-18T17:22:00+01:00

Yes. We are based in Belfast and provide professional live streaming and event production throughout the UK and Ireland and even further. With recent trips to Milan, Brussels London and Copenhagen.

We regularly work with corporate clients, event organisers, venues and production teams from various areas.

Our services can include live streaming, cameras, audio, lighting, LED screens, presentation systems and other event AV requirements, allowing us to provide a complete technical solution rather than just the streaming element.

Can the live stream be recorded?2026-08-18T17:19:46+01:00

Yes. Your live stream can be recorded so you have a high-quality version of the event available after the broadcast.

This gives you the opportunity to repurpose your event into:

Full event recordings
Highlight videos
Short social media clips
Speaker presentations
Promotional content
Training material
Internal communications
On-demand event content

We can discuss your post-event requirements before the production so that the recording is captured in the most useful format for your intended use.

For larger productions, we can also build recording and backup systems into the technical setup.

Can you provide live graphics and presentations?2026-08-18T17:19:01+01:00

Yes. Live graphics can make a significant difference to the quality and professionalism of an event broadcast.

We can incorporate presentations, videos, logos, speaker names, lower-third graphics, sponsor information, scores, questions and other branded content into the live production.

For example, during a recent sports broadcast, live graphics were used to display team information, scores and questions in real time.

We can also work with your existing presentation and content files to make sure they integrate correctly into the live stream and the in-room AV system.

Can you provide cameras and audio for the live stream?2026-08-18T17:17:59+01:00

Yes. We can provide the cameras, audio and production equipment required for your live stream.

Depending on the event, this can include multiple PTZ or broadcast-style cameras, camera operators, professional microphones, audio mixing, vision mixing, presentation playback and dedicated streaming equipment.

The equipment is selected around your event rather than simply providing a standard package.

Can you live stream an exhibition or trade show?2026-08-18T17:17:06+01:00

Absolutely.

Live streaming can be a great way to extend the reach of an exhibition or trade show beyond the people physically attending.

We can stream product demonstrations, presentations, interviews, panel discussions and live content directly from your exhibition stand or event space.

A multi-camera setup can capture both the presenter and the wider exhibition environment, while branded graphics and presentation content can help create a professional broadcast that reflects your brand.

Beyond AV can also combine the live stream with LED screens, event audio, lighting and other AV requirements to create a complete exhibition production.

Can you live stream a conference?2026-08-18T17:16:38+01:00

Yes. Conferences are one of the most effective uses of professional live streaming.

Beyond AV can provide a complete conference streaming solution including multiple cameras, professional microphones, presentation playback, live vision mixing, branded graphics and online broadcast.

We can capture keynote presentations, panel discussions, interviews and audience interaction while simultaneously providing the AV production required for people attending in the room.

This means your physical and online audiences can experience the same event, while the recording can also be used after the conference.

Can you stream to multiple platforms at the same time?2026-08-18T17:16:12+01:00

Yes. We can configure your production to broadcast to multiple destinations simultaneously.

For example, your event could be streamed to YouTube and LinkedIn at the same time, allowing you to reach different audiences without having to run separate productions.

Multi-platform streaming is particularly useful for corporate events, product launches, conferences and public-facing campaigns where different audiences may be using different platforms.

The exact setup depends on the platforms being used, their technical requirements and the overall production. LinkedIn also confirms that some third-party broadcast tools support simultaneous streaming to LinkedIn and other platforms.

Can you live stream to YouTube, LinkedIn and Facebook?2026-08-18T17:15:32+01:00

Yes. We can configure your live stream for platforms including YouTube, LinkedIn and Facebook, subject to the requirements and permissions of each platform.

YouTube is particularly useful for public events because streams can be shared and embedded on websites, while LinkedIn Live can be particularly effective for professional and corporate audiences.

LinkedIn currently supports live broadcasting through approved third-party broadcast tools and RTMP-based workflows, making professional production systems suitable for LinkedIn Live events.

We’ll help you choose the most appropriate platform based on your audience, event objectives and how you want people to access the broadcast.

What types of events can you live stream?2026-08-18T17:15:04+01:00

Almost any event can be live streamed with the right production setup.

Beyond AV provides live streaming for:

Corporate conferences
Business events
Awards ceremonies
Exhibitions and trade shows
Product launches
Company meetings and town halls
Hybrid events
Festivals and live entertainment
Sports events
Panel discussions
Presentations and seminars
Interviews and promotional events
Internal communications

We can provide anything from a straightforward single-camera stream to a full multi-camera broadcast with professional audio, graphics and live production.

How much does event live streaming cost?2026-08-18T18:01:00+01:00

The cost of live streaming an event depends on several factors, including the length of the event, number of cameras, venue, production requirements, streaming platform, graphics, connectivity and the number of technicians required.

A simple single-camera stream will require a very different setup to a multi-camera broadcast with live graphics, presentations, audience interaction and multiple streaming destinations.

At Beyond AV, we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all package. We design the streaming solution around your event and provide a quotation based on your specific requirements. For larger or more complex productions, we can also provide additional cameras, dedicated streaming engineers, backup connectivity, graphics and full AV production.
